From the beginning of this journey to build Gravity Sketch, we have taken a community-first approach. As fellow designers creating this product, we’ve wanted to make sure a wide set of voices are heard as the platform evolves. Community support has been instrumental in bringing Gravity Sketch to where it is today. Many of you were among the first to bring Gravity Sketch into your creative workflows, providing feedback, and helping shape how Gravity Sketch has developed.

As we grow, we continue to pay close attention to how we can best support the design community with a free product that empowers creativity with the tools you need to capture 3D ideas. That isn't changing: Gravity Sketch will still have the tools you need to create -- geometry, ink, stroke, surfacing, textures, layers -- all for free.

With this growth, we have seen how Gravity Sketch can influence enterprise companies' workflows. Our free vs. paid offerings need to mature, to support the different use cases and business sizes using Gravity Sketch. By default, users on the Free plan will be subject to limitations on collaboration features and downloads.

We have tried to be as intentional about these changes as possible, and base our decisions on the features we know businesses and agencies are using to actually deliver products to market. These changes are never easy, and we know we won't get this right the first time. As a crucial part of Gravity Sketch history, we want to continue to work with the community to make the best possible solution for you all, and for the business viability of Gravity Sketch.
